I participated in a few carnivals this week. To start with, StockTradingToGo hosted the 146th Carnival of Personal Finance - Online Broker Tips Edition. My article Gates No Longer Richest And Why You Can’t Keep All Your Eggs In One Basket was included.
Chief Family Officer hosted the 53rd Carnival of Money Stories - April Fool’s Edition. Five Ways Fantasy Baseball Is Like Personal Finance saw some additional exposure there (If you haven’t already stumbled or Dugg the post go and do it. I want to see how big I can get this post. Thanks!).
Last, but by no means least, Bible Money Matters hosted the increasingly growing Money Hackers Carnival #6 - Famous Hackers Edition. Five Gifts That Keep Giving was included there.
Go check out the carnivals for more great articles!
As if the carnivals weren’t enough I was excited to find that Karen Datko over at MSN’s Smart Spending recapped my April 1st post 7 Ways To Get Rich Quick. Check out the rich schemes recap. Thanks so much for the inclusion in your great blog!
In the realm of free, Hank over at My Investing Blog has a contest going where he’s giving away H&R Block Tax Cut Premium, a $100 Amazon gift card, and 500 EntreCard credits. He wants to know “How will you spend/save your 2007 tax return? If you aren’t getting one, how much do you owe?” Our tax return is sitting in ING right now. Head over there and check it out!
Pinyo over at Moolanomy is also giving away prizes. He’s giving away a $50 Amazon Gift card to one commenter and $50 worth of advertising. Go check out the details.
Now for some articles I found in my Google Reader:
My Worst Decision Ever at The Wisdom Journal. Ron tells a powerful story of all the trouble he put his family through for a job he took for the money.
brip blap Getting Zen Things Done at brip blap. Steve comes up with a pared down version of GTD . I could use some better organizing myself…
10 Things I Learned From My Second Marathon at Zen Habits. I ran my first last November. I hope I can be as successful as Leo was on my second try.
15 Ways To Save Money On Your Cell Phone Bill at Cash Money Life. I’ve recently implemented one of these tips which I’ll be posting about soon.
Interesting. I seem to link out to the same group of people. I guess that’s no coincidence since I enjoy their work! If you have a blog you’d like me to check out leave a comment or shoot me an email.

Thanks for linking to The Wisdom Journal. That was a difficult story to write about, but I think it brought my wife and me a little closer.
She is an awesome woman!
Ron
Hey FFB - thanks for the love; you’ve been entered a few more times now! :0
Thank you for linking to my giveaway. It runs whole month long, so be sure to come over often.
thanks for the link love, and for the good reading material!
Thanks for linking back to the Carnival and for the Stumble! Have a great weekend
Who couldn’t use more organization? I wrote that article and I could still use plenty more, too…
Thanks for the mention!
Thanks for all the great links. I’m going to start reading after I post my comment. I’ve just started blogging a few months ago and I’m enjoying my email subscription of your post. Keep em coming.
@ Ron - I can only imagine how difficult it was to write but it was a moving read with a great lesson to us all. You’re a lucky guy to have your wife and her support!
@ Hank - Always!
@ Pinyo - I’ll have to remember to stop by more. I always read your stuff in my reader so I’m not at the site. If only there was a way to comment from my reader…
@ Peter - No problem and thanks for putting the carnival together!
@ Brip Blap - What I liked was that it was organization without having to do too much. I haven’t read GTD but it sounded like there was a lot you needed to do to get organized.
@ Chief Family Officer - Hope it brought some traffic your way!
@ Mark - Thanks for the kind words. It means a lot to me that you enjoy my work. Thanks again!
