What a month in economic news huh? AIG was bailed out. Merrill Lynch was bought. Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy and then were bought. Washington Mutual was bought. There’s all sorts of talk about a government bailout plan. On the one hand it’s a bit exciting. On the other, it’s not the kind of exciting that always good.
I re-allocated and re-balanced my 401(k) in September. I went heavier in bonds/cash before the big crash last week so I may have I changed it in time. Still it looks pretty dismal. I have time though to really worry about it.
Make sure you enter my contest that’s going on through October 15th! It’s easy to enter.
I also changed the layout of the site a bit by moving one of the sidebars. What do you think?
