Festive Link Love Carnivality #17

by

Bubble Popper

Been kind of a slow week. I think it’s a little post 4th of July/Summeritis that I have.  I’m loving coming home and it’s still full daylight out with all the kids out playing.  It’s like, yeah I have to work but I still get some play time too!  I better enjoy it since I think work will be getting busy real soon.

Due to the holiday last week I didn’t get to submit to carnivals like I normally do.  I did get into the Carnival of Financial Goals – Freedom Edition for my article Independence Day – What Does It Mean To You.  Thanks Patrick!

My Google Reader has been full of articles I haven’t been able to catch up on.  I have about 50 or so sites in my feeder and most of them post at least a few times a week.  Right now my unread sits at 374!  I’d love to add more sites but I don’t know how I could keep up.

Here are some great articles I was able to read through:

I hear you about having “summeritis”… it’s really slowing me down this week! I also just joined the Money Hackers so I should be starting to submit to carnivals too. Should be fun!

Glad you enjoyed the home buying post.

I’m going to bookmark the bike repair site – I’m terrible at doing that stuff…

@ Mrs Micah – Used to love MacGuyver when it was on!

@ MoneyEnergy – The summeritis really kicks in on Monday, especially when I was at the beach on Sunday!

@ Four Pillars – When I was a kid I used to be able to take apart and repair a bike with no problems. Now with all the different gears and such it’s a little more intimidating. My bike needs a tune-up. Might have to go to the repair site and take a Saturday afternoon and fix things up.

@ Patrick and Sara – I always enjoy linking out to articles I read!

Hey, thanks for the links. That was a good resource, and some of those articles were excellent. I especially love the idea of “Making Do!”
