Happy Blogoversary To Me And Links

by

So check this out – I’ve officially been blogging on Free From Broke for over three years now!  Whoda thunk it?  I knew the date was coming up but then it just came and went with no fanfare.  That’s cool though.  It’s been one fun ride the past three years and I see Free From Broke really taking a big step forward in it’s fourth year.  Of course, none of the work I’ve done is worth anything without you, the reader! Thank you all for all of the support I’ve been given these past three years.  Nothing makes me feel better than to write an article and see discussions pop up in the comments.  Man, I love having my site and producing content and interacting with other people out there!

Thank you!

There have also been a great number of other sites that have helped me along the way and continue to do so. I won’t list everyone here now (the article would be too long) but know that many are on my blogroll and are featured in my link roundups.  It’s just one way of saying thank you.

So stay tuned.  The ride is nowhere near over yet!

And now for some great articles:

Do Not Wait – There’s a new site in town about planning for retirement. To start things off Do Not Wait are giving away an iPad among many other great prizes. Check out the contest rules (and the site).
Reddit|Financial Planning – Hey do you guys know I run the sub-reddit FinancialPlanning over on Reddit? Go check it out for more great personal finance articles (and help vote up and submit too!).
Barbara Friedberg Personal Finance – Barbara has a new ebook out that’s free called 20 Minute Guide to Investing. There’s lots of good info there as well as some awesome sites she mentions.

Wow, has it been that long already? Man, time flies! I remember you being around before me, but not by long I don’t think – I started a bit after you in January 2008.. In any event, congrats Craig on the big bloggiversary! You are now officially older than 99$% of the blogs out there!

Time does fly. I remember when you started out too. You had a slick site for Blogger!

Haha, let’s hope we both stick around for a long time.
