ING Direct is at it again. Rather than encourage people to go out and spend, ING Direct wants its customers to save and invest! Once again ING is offering up Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
Here are a couple of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals they have made public so far:
Here is the complete list of ING Black Friday deals for 2011!
The deals below are from a previous year.
- 100% Cash Back Giveaway – Customers who use their Electric Orange debit card on Black Friday between 8:01am ET – 7:59pm ET will have a chance to win 100% cash back. They will select one transaction every hour (between 8AM – 8PM EST) and deposit 100% of the transaction amount back into the Customer’s Electric Orange Checking account. Essentially, your purchase will be on them if you win. All signature and PIN-based transactions are eligible. The maximum giveaway amount customers could win is $5,000. On Black Friday, follow @ingdirect on Twitter or visit We, the Savers (www.wethesavers.com/BlackFriday) to see who wins each hour. Participants must be 18 years old, no purchase necessary, see official rules.
- 25% Off ShareBuilder Real-Time Trade commissions – This holiday season, why buy a toy when you can buy stock in the company that makes the toy? In order to help new and existing customers invest in their future, ShareBuilder is offering 25% off the cost of placing a real-time trade. As always, ShareBuilder has no minimums and offers investors the ability to purchase partial shares. The rebate applies to all real-time trades executed on Friday, November 26th and Monday, November 29th. The rebate will be credited back to qualifying accounts approximately two to four weeks following the close of the promotion.
The complete list of deals will be available at 12:01am EST on Black Friday (November 26th). Make sure to check out the ING Direct Black Friday page that day.
Last year’s ING Direct Black Friday deals included a great sign-up bonus for their Electric Orange checking account, mortgage deals, ShareBuilder trade discounts, and Certificate of Deposit (CD) deals. I’m looking forward to seeing the complete list of deals ING rolls out. It was Black Friday of last year that I signed up for their Electric Orange Checking account.
I’ve been a vocal fan of ING Direct here and I definitely encourage you to check out their deals.

I am hoping for a nice ING saving account deal. My emergency fund is finally big enough to move some of it off the local bank and to a higher yield account! I’ll probably go with the Orange saving account.
It will be interesting to see what they offer! I think the ING Orange Savings is great without extra incentives anyway.
I have been using ING for more than 5 years and I also recommend ING. They provide many ways to save money and is much better than traditional banks.
