I started off the week the week with a nice surprise, getting linked to from Lifehacker: Should You Pay Off A High Balance or High Interest Rate Credit Card First? – Credit Cards – Lifehacker.  First, let me say I LOVE Lifehacker and read it everyday so I am humbled.  Second, it was my birthday so that was a great gift to discover.  Seems the subject of what credit card to pay first caused some controversy as there are 176 comments there right now.

I have a couple of giveaways running for the next few days here.  One is a giveaway for Robin Sharma’s new book The Leader Who Had No Title.  Sharma is the author of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari.  The book is about being a leader and getting ahead in life without worrying about your actual title.

The other giveaway is for WinX DVD Ripper Platinum.  This program will allow Windows users to back up their DVD’s.

I want to tell you about a group of personal finance bloggers I’ve been interacting with – The Yakezie Group.  The basic premise of the group was to visit each other and build up their Alexa rankings.  What’s its quickly become is a great group of bloggers looking for ways to build up a great community and grow each others sites.  Check out the original article on it from Financial SamuraiCreating Powerful Friends: Samurai’s Yakezie Alexa Ranking Challenge.  Daniel from Sweating The Big Stuff put together a great spreadsheet of the sites involved and their Alexa rankings.  Keep an eye out as you will see me highlighting members of the Yakezie group.  I hope to also have members adding their thoughts on various articles in the comments as well.

Here are some great articles I’ve read that you should too:
