Wow, it’s been a long time since I did a roundup! I gotta tell you, you have a baby and all free time becomes well….not free! And it goes by fast! Out little daughter is already over a month old. We can’t believe how much she’s changed in the past month already. We’re slowly getting back into a regular rhythm but the kids (three of them) take up a lot of our attention. It’s all good though because they have been great! On to the roundup!
Here are some carnivals Free From Broke has participated in:
Carnival of Personl Finance #211 – Burn Notice Edition at Green Panda Treehouse. I was honored with an Editor’s Pick!
Money Hacks Carnival #71 – Canada Day Edition at The Canadian Finance Blog. Another Editor’s pick!
Carnival of Personal Finance #212 – Independence Day Around the World Edition at Darwin’s Finance.
Carnival of Family Life – Fourth of July Wrap Up Edition at All Rileyed Up. Yeah I need to post these carnivals more often!
Festival of Frugality # 185 – Barbeque Edition at Your Money Relationship.
Money Hacks Carnival – Staying Cool Edition at The Personal Finance Playbook. Editor’s Pick honors once again.
Money Hacks Carnival #73 – Working for the Weekend Edition at Money Beagle.
Carnival of Personal Finance – House of Rose Edition at Good Financial Cents.
Carnival of Personal Finance – New Zealand Edition at Man Vs Debt.
Festival of Frugality – Frugal for the Win at M is for Money.
When you read through a carnival it’s easy to take for granted how much work goes into them. But trust me it’s a lot! The host has to read through every submission and format the article. Remember, there are usually more articles than you see listed that the host has to read. Go check out the carnivals above. I’m sure you will find many great articles!
Oh yeah, I can’t forget the Best of Money Carnival #9 – It’s a Girl Edition hosted by the best personal finance blogger around! (I just checked and there aren’t any other PF bloggers in my household so I’m pretty confident that best statement is true. Yes I’m using “around” very loosely here.)
Here are some great personal finance articles from around the web:
All Financial Matters posted his 2009 Personal Finance “How To” roundup. There are a ton of great articles here! Bookmark it and check them all out.
Financial Checklist for New Parents over at Bargaineering (which was a guest post by Cash Money Life). Give this a look if you are expecting or recently had a child. This is a real good checklist!
Remember that best PF blogger I talked about earlier? Well, I had the honor to write a guest article at ING Direct’s blog We the Savers titled I’m Not Smart Enough To Save On My Own. If you know me you know I love ING so it was a real thrill to be able to write for them. Go check out their blog!
Prime Time Money questions whether Cash for Clunkers is good for consumers.
Bible Money Matters offers up a great introduction to Lending Club.
Remodeling This Life ponders time slipping away. Time seems to disappear quicker and quicker doesn’t it?
Sense to Save gives us her impression of cloth diapers. With a new little one of our own we’ve thought about cloth diapers but we haven’t had the guts yet.
Building new income streams at Passive Family Income.
CARS or donate your car at Simple Debt Free Finance.
100 Best Personal Finance Blogs for Recent College Grads
And that’s a roundup! Enjoy!

I can’t complain, thanks! I’d love to host more carnivals but it’s a lot of work reading through everything.
Very nice list. Thanks for spending the time to list all of the good ones so that we don’t have to.
