I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! If you went out for some Black Friday fun I hope you got some super deals without breaking the bank. The holiday was good for us as we went to my folks for family dinner. We didn’t partake in Black Friday except to sign up for an ING Direct Electric Orange account. They were offering $121 to sign up. Figured that was a good incentive. I’m actually excited to start using Electric Orange and I’ll be posting on how I like it.
Here are some great articles around the web (no turkeys here!):
PT Money wrote a great e-book called 52 Ways to Make Extra Money…Revisited. If you sign up for his newsletter you get the e-book free. The suggestions are great, though I am a bit biased as I’m included.
Think Your Way To Wealth writes about going from two incomes to one.
Dough Roller had an incredible piece on reasons you aren’t wealthy (ok, it was a guest post I wrote but you should check it out!).
Good Financial Cents has a fun article on In ‘N Out Burger. Can’t say I’ve ever tried them but if I’m ever out West and they have a vegetarian selection then I’m game!
Man Vs Debt compares personal finance to X-Men characters from the old arcade game (man, I spent a lot on that one back in the day!).
Being Frugal shows us some frugal X-Mas gifts.
Bible Money Matters talks about overcoming money issues in a marriage.
Check out 5 four letter words you should be using in personal finance at Frugal Dad.

I wasn’t able to go to the stores on Black Friday, but I did get some great deals online that morning. I was up pretty early and was able to grab a nice 17″ laptop for my husband for $449. It sold out pretty quickly though and now back up to $699.

Thanks for the mention, FFB. The OSA from ING direct was my only Black Friday purchase as well!
Nice!
