Will the summer heat ever wane?
Blistering heat has encompassed a majority of the United States. The drought we are currently experiencing is being called the worst drought since 1956. This will surely impact food prices as the basic economic principal of supply and demand kick in. With less supply due to crops failing, and normal demand, food prices should go up.

It really stinks about the drought but I’m prepared in case prices go up. Food isn’t a huge huge part of my budget though so it shouldn’t affect me too much hopefully.
It’s really odd how weather works. I read the other day that they have had a lot of rain in London that is affecting the olympics. Where I live in the South, it has rained every day for the past two weeks. So when it’s dry in one area, it is unusually wet in another.
Thank you for the mention Glen!
The drought here in Ottawa, Ontario has been relentless! Our grass is brown and crispy, water levels are down drastically – everyone is hoping and praying for rain. We desperately need rain…
I wish we were having a summer heat wave here in Portland.
Thanks for mentioning Adaptu!
Oh no, I hope that changes, we’ll be there in a week (Portland, OR).
Really?! When?!
