Find the Affordable Health Coverage You Need at eHealthInsurance.com – Review

Published or updated June 2, 2012 by Glen Craig

Health Insurance is critical- whether you are an individual or have a family; you need a way to cover both preventative medical care and emergency care.

Many employers are reducing or cutting health insurance benefits, leaving people with the need to find their own insurance options.  For a wide variety of affordable health insurance options for both individuals and families, consider checking a free quote at eHealthInsurance.com.

Get Quotes. Compare Plans. Apply Online.eHealthInsurance is the largest online resource for health insurance, offering the ability to compare the basics of a variety of health plans.  One of the best things about the eHealthInsurance website is you can receive live quotes, complete your application online and be approved in just minutes.

What Services are Offered?

eHealthInsurance offers health insurance no matter what your needs- including small business options, individual and family plans, short-term health insurance, Medicare supplements, dental plans and even life insurance options.

You can find health savings accounts, discount cards, student health insurance, vision insurance and more, all in one convenient location.

Who does eHealthInsurance Cover?

eHealthInsurance has plans available for students, Medicare recipients – including Medicare Part D, and more.  There are specific plans for long-term care coverage, stand alone dental or vision care or comprehensive family and individual coverage.  Small business owners can also find insurance plans to offer their employees- and their dependents.

eHealthInsurance HomepageIndividual Insurance

It can be especially difficult to find affordable individual health insurance when your employer does not provide it.

Take the stress out of searching by utilizing eHealthInsurance to find the best option for your needs.  Many states allow insurance companies to deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, but with customized assistance based on the state in which you live, eHealthInsurance takes the hassle out of the process.

In addition to standard types of health insurance coverage, you can even find high-risk insurance pools so pre-existing conditions don’t have to knock you out of the game.  You can find information and quotes from a variety of insurance options including HMO’s, PPOs, EPOs, POS and even catastrophic coverage plans.

Family insurance

When you have a family, health insurance is a must-have.

Children mean doctor’s visits- from immunizations and preventative care to dental care and vision screens, as well as emergency room visits and urgent care needs.  The costs can add up to astronomical bills if you don’t have insurance coverage.

Using eHealthInsurance to find coverage for your family can help you stay prepared and be able to provide the health care your family needs.

What are the Costs?

The information and comparison service on eHealthInsurance.com is free.

eHealthInsurance.com offers quotes from a wide range of providers, giving you greater freedom and flexibility in finding the coverage you are looking for at a cost you can afford.  With the quick, fill-in-the-blanks application process, you can have health insurance coverage in as little as 11 minutes from now.

eHealthInsurance.com also provides a health insurance buyer’s guide that answers all your most pressing questions about health insurance.

You can understand why you need coverage, get to know the terms used most often in the health insurance industry, assess your needs to make an informed decision, compare your options and learn how to apply for coverage and what you can expect afterward as well.  This buyer’s guide can be viewed online or you can download your own copy.

Quick story: I had an Economics of Personal Finance class not too long ago.  One of our assignments was to look up the various costs of the health insurance we would need to buy if we wouldn’t otherwise covered.  The professor actually suggested eHealthInsurance for reference.  So I went to the site, not knowing what to expect, and I was surprised at how easy it was to use and how quick and comprehensive the quotes were.

Take the hard work out of finding your individual or family health insurance.

eHealthInsurance.com has been rated the best online site for comprehensive health insurance options by Kipplingers and has been endorsed by Suze Orman.  With recommendations like those, it’s easy to see why you need to visit eHealthInsurance.com today.

Interesting that you posted this review because that is actually the service I used when shopping for my personal health insurance – ended up working out well for me and the plan I got is reasonable, I’m sure that it varies by state though.

    Pros:
Easy to use website, informative and has most of the players
    Cons:
Very slow process, Documents that should have been asked for initially was not asked for so I have to wait an additional 2 weeks. Damn

Ehealthinsurance is completely incompetent. After 4 weeks of phone calls back and forth they were unable to successfully communicate my information back to the insurance company. This resulted in a lot of wasted time and money. I suggest eliminating the middle man and dealing directly with the insurance company. That’s what I’m going to do.
