Thanks Dad!
It’s a shame it took until I had kids to fully understand everything you did but now I get it. Thanks for all the time you gave me. I certainly didn’t appreciate it all when I was a kid but I do now.
For the rest of you, take some time out to appreciate the dads in your life. Think about the life and money lessons Dad taught you and consider what you are passing down to your kids. They may not realize it now but they are learning a lot from your actions.

Happy Father’s Day! As I get older, I realize all the things my parents taught me without saying a word. My own adult children pointed out the same things. We are role models for our children which is as important or more important than what we say to them.

I find that I feel the same way. Now that I am raising children I see where all the worrying and discipline comes in. Back when i was growing up I thought parents just didnt get it. They get it and just want the best for their kids. Great list of posts to read.

Super late but Happy Father’s Day. Yeah, I know how you feel about your dad. You thought it’s easy and that everything was your dad’s fault, or he doesn’t love you because he won’t give you what you want. You never understood that before, but now, now that I have my own children, I finally do. And boy, it’s one of the most difficult job in the world. Difficult, but fulfilling.
