Free H&R Block At Home Online Premium Edition – Giveaway

Published or updated March 27, 2013 by Glen Craig

Have you done your taxes yet? Do you know how you will have them prepared?  Well, I’m here to help (maybe).

Our friends at H&R Block have offered up three (3) codes that can be redeemed for their H&R Block At Home Premium Edition. That means three readers will have a chance to win a copy.

A little about H&R Block At Home Online Premium Edition (from H&R Block):

For most taxpayers, including homeowners, investors, the self-employed and rental property owners.

All H&R Block tax prep solutions include:

  • Maximum refund guarantee – finds all the deductions and credits you’re entitled to
  • Free federal e-filing – get your refund in as few as eight days
  • Accurate calculations guarantee and free audit support
  • Easy importing of your W-2, 1099 and last year’s info (even if H&R Block didn’t do your taxes)

Learn about H&R Block At Home Online Tax Preparation Software and all that’s in the Premium Edition.

Each one-use key code can be used to purchase the H&R Block At Home Premium online version, valued at $49.95 and includes federal tax filing. (The code has a value of $55, which will cover any sales tax for the redeemer.) The tax filer can start the process of completing his/her return, and upon completion will be prompted for payment—there is an option to enter a key code for payment. The code will cover the cost of the Premium Edition. Each state tax filing is an additional $34.95, if filer wants to also file his/her state taxes.

Here’s how to enter for one (1) of three (3) copies of H&R Block At Home Online Premium Edition:

Leave a comment on this article telling me that you want to enter.

That’s it!  Simple right?

Some details about the giveaway:

You have until Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at 10 pm EST to leave a comment in order to qualify for the giveaway.  Once I have all of the entries I’ll assign a number to each and use a random number generator (random.org) to pick the three winners.  I’ll then contact you via email if you won (make sure you leave a valid email address).  You have 48 hours to respond.  I’ll then send you the code and instructions to get you on your way to taking care of your Federal taxes.  If you are picked as a winner and don’t respond, I’ll pick another winner.  (Make sure freefrombroke [at] gmail.com is in your address book so my email won’t go to spam if you win!).  Only one entry per person/email.  If I think your email is spam I will eliminate it.

Remember, this giveaway is for the Premium Edition of the tax preparation software. Check out my review of H&R Block’s At Home Online tax preparation software to see which edition best suits you.

By the way, I’m also giving away a few copies of the software to those who subscribed to the Free From Broke newsletter.  It’s too late to enter that particular giveaway but if you want to get in on exclusive opportunities like that as well as receive Free From Broke content via email then you should subscribe to my newsletter here.

Feel free to tell your friends and family about this as well if you think they may need a copy of H&R Block At Home Premium Edition.

What are you waiting for?!?  Leave a comment and enter!

I used H&R Block At Home last year and actually kind of enjoyed doing my taxes… I would love to win the Premium edition because my husband is self-employed and that makes taxes a bit more complicated. Fingers are crossed! Thanks for the chance! 🙂

Please enter me. I’ve been doing my taxes by hand because a typo on my social security card prevented me from filing on line.

After years of procrastination, I finally got this taken care of and would love to have the software to help.

    Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

I have used H&R Block for several years and have never been successful in getting a code for the free Premium Home. I prepare all the taxes for my family and end up doing about 20-30 every year all told. I am no professional but H&R Block makes it very simple!
