American Express® Premier Rewards Gold Card – Review

Published or updated March 1, 2014 by Glen Craig

When you think of a gold card the first thing that comes to mind is American Express®.

They are the one who put an exclusive card on the map.

I’m going to show you what makes the American Express(R) Premier Rewards Gold Card special.

First off, don’t make the mistake of thinking this is a credit card, it’s not.

This is a CHARGE card.  That means that the purchases you make are expected to be paid off IN FULL when you get your statement.  There are some exceptions but for the most part this is a card for people who will be able to pay everything off every month (you should really aim to do that anyway).

Being a charge card means there is no pre-set spending limit for the card.  Not that you can go out and spend to your heart’s content though.  Your purchasing power will adjust to your spending habits, your payment habits, your income, and other factors that American Express takes into account. Hyatt Gold Passport Hotel Rewards Program – A Review

Published or updated January 6, 2013 by Melissa

There are over 453 Hyatt properties around the world.

If Hyatt is a hotel chain you enjoy, you need to consider enrolling in Hyatt’s rewards program, Hyatt Gold Passport, which offers the flexibility to earn either hotel points or airline mile points.

Hyatt Gold Passport rewards are accrued at 5 points per dollar spent.

Alternatively, Hyatt has partnered with 35 airlines; instead of points, you could earn 500 air miles with one of their airline partners per qualified Hyatt stay.  In addition, if you are an event planner, you can earn one point per dollar spent on events at Hyatt by joining their Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards Program.

La Quinta Returns Member Rewards Hotel Program – A Review

La Quinta Hotel Rewards Program Review

Many hotel chains offer their own rewards programs, and some of them are fairly complicated as far as how points are earned and redeemed. If you are looking for a straight forward hotel reward program where you can choose to earn hotel points or airline miles, La Quinta Returns Member Rewards may be just the program for you.

La Quinta Returns Member Rewards are earned at 10 points per dollar spent.  If you prefer to earn airline miles, La Quinta has partnered with American Airlines Advantage, Continental Airlines One Pass, Delta Sky Miles, MexicanaGo, and Southwest.com Rapid Rewards.  For all of the airlines except the latter, you can earn 250 airline miles per night at La Quinta Inns.  For Southwest.com Rapid Rewards, you can earn 600 points per stay.

Signing up for La Quinta Returns Member Rewards is quite simple; you are required to give basic information such as your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number . [Read more…] about La Quinta Returns Member Rewards Hotel Program – A Review
