Deals sites are pretty popular these days and leading the pack is Groupon.
I’ve reviewed Groupon and written about their deals before. This is a nice one that hits just in time for last-minute holiday shopping (or post-holiday shopping where you can usually find some great deals).
Here’s the current deal:
Groupon usually showcases local businesses, but every now and then they get a national deal. This happens to be one of them! This particular deal is limited to one per person, for U.S. residents only. You can buy an additional Groupon as a gift.
This Groupon is running from December 21 through December 24th, 2011 (didn’t I say just in time for the holidays?).
The deal is valid in all U.S. stores (sorry Canada and those who shop online). It expires January 28, 2012.
What’s nice about the deal is it’s valid on sale items too so you can really rack up the savings here.
We shop Old Navy from time-to-time.
Without any deals you can usually find clothes for adults and the kids at good prices. When things are sale you can get really good deals! We probably use this more for the kids since we don’t like to spend a lot on clothes that they might outgrow real quick.
We’ll be picking up this Groupon! This is an awesome time to pick up a winter coat for next year for the kids.
How does Groupon work?
After signing up for Groupon (basically giving them your email if you aren’t already signed up), you select the deal and pay for it. They will give you a coupon to print out or a code to use at checkout.
Bring the Groupon you printed out to the store and hand it to the cashier — voila! — you get the discount! Sometimes you can use the code from a smartphone as well.
There is usually a time period in which to use the Groupon. In the case of Old Navy you have until January 28, 2012 to use the deal.
You don’t want to miss out but you don’t have to sweat about losing money if you don’t use it. If you don’t use your offer in time your Old Navy Groupon will still be good for the amount you paid, in this case $10.
Make sure to see the details of the offer if you have any questions about the offer’s use.
